Content Policy
Last updated October 25, 2026
Pixfy is for editing your photos and making images: changing outfits, backgrounds and styles, removing objects, making new images and short videos. This page explains what isn’t allowed and how we enforce it. It is part of our Terms of Service.
Not allowed
You can’t use Pixfy to make, upload or share any of the following.
- Sexual content and nudity: nudity, undressing (“nudify”), see-through or sexualized outfit changes, or sexualized images of anyone, real or not.
- Child sexual abuse material: any sexual or sexualized content involving minors. We report child sexual abuse material we become aware of, as the law requires.
- Violence and gore: graphic violence, gore, content that encourages self-harm, and threats against people or groups.
- Hate speech: content that attacks or demeans people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits.
- Deepfakes and impersonation of real people:
- putting one person’s face or identity onto another person, or turning someone into a specific real person;
- putting real people into a kissing, intimate or sexual scene;
- making a real person appear to say or do something they never said or did, or to be at an event that never happened, such as a news event, a crime, or a meeting with someone;
- passing yourself or your results off as another real person, brand or organization.
- Copyright and trademark infringement: photos you don’t have the right to use, and images that copy copyrighted characters or artwork, or other people’s logos and trademarks, without permission.
- Other illegal or harmful content: content that breaks the law, harasses someone, or shares another person’s private information.
Photos of real people
- Only upload photos of yourself, or photos where everyone recognizable has agreed to you uploading and editing them. Uploading someone else’s photo without their consent isn’t allowed.
- Don’t upload or edit photos of celebrities, politicians or other public figures.
- Tools that put people together, such as the AI Hug Generator, need the consent of everyone shown, and the result must stay friendly and non-sexual.
- Permission from the people in a photo never makes a deepfake from the list above allowed.
- Ordinary edits to your own photos are fine: a new outfit, background or style, as long as you don’t use the result to mislead people about what really happened.
Results are AI-generated
Every Pixfy result is made by an AI model. Don’t present a result as an unedited photo where that could mislead people, and label it as AI-generated where the law or the platform you post it on requires that.
How we check requests
Requests go through up to three automated checks:
- Your photo, when you upload it.
- Your description, together with your photos, before generation starts.
- The result, before we store it or show it to you. Video results aren’t checked at this stage yet.
If a check fails, we stop. Blocked photos and results are never stored; we only keep a record that the check failed and which category it matched, and our team is alerted with the blocked description so we can review it. If you were charged credits for that request, they are returned. If our checks are unavailable, we stop the request rather than skip the check, and you aren’t charged.
Automated checks make mistakes and can block an ordinary photo. If that happens, try rewording your description or using a different photo. The AI model can also decline a request on its own; that returns your credits too.
If your requests keep getting blocked
Each request that one of the checks above stops counts as one block. Too many blocks limit your account. We count blocks from the last 30 days:
- 3 or more blocks: your account is limited to a few generations per hour. The limit lifts as blocks age past 30 days.
- 10 or more blocks: your account is paused until a person reviews it. We then restore it or close it. Email support@pixfy.io to ask for a review.
Declines by the AI model don’t count toward these numbers. Automated checks don’t catch everything. If we find, or are told about, content that breaks this policy, we delete it and may pause or close the account that made it, even if it hasn’t reached these numbers.
